Rachel Lehmann-Haupt is an author, essayist and journalist. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, The New York Observer, New York, Outside, Salon.com, Self, Vogue, Business Week, O magazine, and Alternet.com. She holds a BA in English Literature from Kenyon College, and an MA from The Graduate School of Journalism at The University of California at Berkeley. She has also written a column for MSN Money and served as executive editor of Plum magazine. She lives in the West Village in Manhattan.
